In all of my collections, albums are included. However, I have had clients who have called me after they’ve presented their incredible gift saying their man enjoyed the images so much, that they want a little more. And I love that!

Over the next month, I’m going to be  introducing some of the fun new products and today I’d like to show you the Float Wrap. Similar to a traditional canvas gallery wrap, this product is printed and folded over a backer board and mounted on an inch deep foam core. It is light weight and easy to hang, and I personally love hanging them in clusters.

In a suite high above the strip, about 15 women sat around discussing business at the super swank and fun Cosmopolitan Hotel. Leah Aubrey and Jennifer Williams, two awesome chicks I met at a workshop last year, have incredible businesses and listening to them and joining in the dialogue confirmed to me that I’m on the right track! I’m so thankful to them for the wonderful business advice they shared AND for the opportunity to shoot a couple of gorgeous gals (the one below, a boudoir photographer herself!).

It’s such a joy to help make women feel like the gorgeous creatures that they are and I’m even more confident that this is what I’m supposed to be doing with my artistic gifts!

A. I don’t have a hair and makeup professional “on staff,” but I do have several recommendations in a number of different price points (these services are not included in the collection price).

When I had my new headshots done recently, I went to see Carina at Flawless Faces. Carina knows how to make brides and boudoir babes look incredible with photography in mind.

Q. DO MY IMAGES HAVE TO BE DISPLAYED ONLINE?

A. Absolutely not! As you’re booking your shoot, I’ll send you a contract, which includes a privacy clause. If you are adverse to only revealing your identity, we can load your hot, yet ANONYMOUS, shots online. It’s completely up to you! This anonymous siren didn’t want her fiance to find out about the shoot prior to the wedding, so she only approved this type, which is still A-OKAY with me!

Q. WHERE DOES THE SHOOT TAKE PLACE?

A. Wherever you’d like! In most of my collections, the location is up to you. I can make some fantastic recommendations on sexy hotels, and in many cases, can arrange for a special rate. Let’s discuss your preferred location at the time of booking. If you’d prefer to shoot at home, that’s fine, too. If that’s the case, I’d recommend “neutralizing” the location (i.e. white sheets, personal items removed off of nightstands, etc).

If you purchase a spot in one of my marathons, the location is included in the collection price and will be sent to you shortly before the session.

Q. I’M GETTING MARRIED. WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY SHOOT IF I WANT TO GIVE MY FIANCE A LITTLE BLACK BOOK FOR OUR WEDDING?

A. My Little Black Books are awesome. Click here to read more about them. My beautiful Leather Craftsmen albums take about six weeks for production and a couple of weeks for design. Let’s schedule your shoot at least two months before your special occasion!

Q. CAN I BRING SOME MUSIC AND CHAMPAGNE TO HELP ME RELAX DURING MY SESSION?

A. YES! I bring some music, but if you have something that will help you get in the “zone,” please feel free to bring it along! The same thing goes for champagne. As a lover of the bubbly stuff, I say bring it along – we might even incorporate it into some shots!

It turns out that my post about my Little Black Books was seen by my album vendor, Leather Craftsmen, and that they liked it so much, they featured it on the front page of their site!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Leather Craftsmen albums are top of the line! Whenever I’ve had a question about design, production, or options, they’ve been incredibly responsive. There was once a slight discrepancy with an album I ordered and they turned around and remade it for me with no question. That kind of customer service has ensured my loyalty!

Boudoir clients of mine ooh and ahh when they see my sample albums and I’ve never had anyone less than thrilled when they receive them in the mail! So, thanks again to Leather Craftsmen for the feature and for being an incredible vendor! You guys are the best!

As I’ve been building my boudoir business, I knew that I needed something special for my albums. Little Black Books are keepsakes that my clients give to their fiances or husbands, either on a wedding day or for a special occasion. Elsie gave hers to her husband on their “lucky 13th anniversary.” Lee Ann gave hers to her hubby the night before their wedding. Some of my clients get them to give to their husbands who travel a lot for business. Whatever the reason, I think it’s AWESOME. I love the anticipation they feel as they plan their gift!

I offer two different albums. The Little Black Book is 6×9, has 16 or more pages, and can be customized about anyway you’d like. A’s book below is standard and absolutely gorgeous. The pages are sturdy, the leather quality is outstanding. These books will last forever!

The other option I offer is the Mini. This option is more economical, but offers limited customization and only has 10 pages. It’s 4×6 and still has the thick pages and archival quality.

This October, I’ll be holding a boudoir marathon here in Orange County. Each session runs approximately 90 minutes and is dedicated to making you feel feminine, beautiful, and luxurious. Gather up your favorite little somethings, grab one of your man’s work shirts, and bring all your jewelry. We’ll choose outfits that photograph well and then we’ll kick on some music! If you’re interested in hair and makeup services, too, that can also be arranged. You might as well make a day of glamour out of it and leave him guessing why you’ve come home looking so beautiful!

If you book one of these sessions, and order your Little Black Book or other products in a timely manner, I’ll have them delivered to you before the holidays. This is the kind of stocking stuffer he’ll NEVER forget! What a fabulous way to turn Santa’s cheeks a little bit rosier!

The a la carte price for the session is $175. Little Black Books average from $300 to $450 (and on up, depending on customization) and are archival quality albums from my fabulous new vendor, Leather Craftsmen.
