They met in a salsa dancing class and both agree that at first, SHE was the better dancer. It wasn’t long before he had taken the lead…and also her heart.

Diana and Raphael are getting married in August (in the church that I grew up in!) and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding. They are quiet, but connected in a special way; he whispers to her and she smiles brightly. Throughout our shoot, they had soft conversations that were only for each others’ ears…I almost felt like I was intruding on their time, but they were easy to work with nonetheless!

Diana and Raphael, I love your smiles and your hearts! I can’t wait for August 7…I know that you two will be beautiful and beaming! Thank you for choosing me to come along for the journey!

I told Raphael to look “GQ” for this image. I think he achieved it!

They are great dancers and so we HAD to incorporate some moves into our shoot! Look at how much she loves dancing with her man!!!

Rebekah, Brett, and Piper came to CA for Thanksgiving and we snuck in a quick photoshoot! We met in Corona del Mar, a longtime favorite location of Rebekah’s, but sadly, dogs weren’t allowed on the sand. Nevertheless, we made due and got some adorable “family” shots!

Lisa and Matt just celebrated their sixth anniversary and are still hopelessly in love. Being with them warmed my heart and gave me hope for that kind of love story!

On a perfectly beautiful afternoon in Paso Robles, we took some time to snap a few new shots of the lovebirds at the Halter Ranch Winery. Surrounded by gorgeous scenery, beautiful vines, and delicious wine, we took some new photos for their wall of photos. Who knows, next up, maybe maternity pics!?!?!

Lisa and Matt, I just love you to death and am honored to be your friend. Watching you smile at each other, and hold hands subconsciously makes me smile because I know if there were ever two people who were meant to be together, it’s you. XOXO!

YOUR LOVE.LISA AND NATE.

Engagement sessions might just be my favorite. The couple is usually very excited and giddy with anticipation for their big day. Lisa and Nate are getting married next month and I had the honor of taking their engagement photos last weekend at the Huntington Central Park. It was so fun to be with them and see the way they interact!

Lisa and Nate are a perfect pair. They truly compliment one another. Lisa smiles more since she’s been with Nate; he brings her joy and makes her giggle. Lisa does the same for Nate…and she certainly encourages him and builds him up. I can’t wait to watch them begin their life together!

On a totally separate note, I tried a new vignette on a couple of these pics to give it more of an old school flair. I think it suits them and I really like the way these pics turned out!

Not long ago, I was able to visit some dear friends in DC. The trip was especially fun because they’re planning a wedding and I was given the honor of doing an engagement session for them. We spent a drizzly day in the Virginia wine country, sipping on beverages, enjoying the scenery, and just having fun. Sarah and Walter, I absolutely CANNOT wait for your wedding in June…thank you for trusting me to take your pictures. I love you both!
