Well, this feels kind of funny, but to be honest, I needed something to blog about…darn this December Daily Challenge. : ) Actually, I love my new headshots, but it does feel slightly self-serving to show off my new photos. However, I did want to emphasize the importance of having them done…and if you’ve been considering new headshots for professional purposes, I highly recommend it.
As I began to work on the new boudoir website, I knew I’d want some new photos taken. I had a vision of being a little sassy, but also fun and approachable. I definitely wanted potential clients to say, hey, she looks nice and fun and like she has style! Even though I had the vision, I knew I couldn’t pull this off all by myself. Being a part of the photography community has been great. I’ve made a lot of friends, mentors, and people who’s work I admire. Enter Victor Sizemore.
Victor is an awesome wedding/engagement photographer. He’s a southern dude to the core and I just had a sense that I’d be comfortable in front of his camera. And I was. And I LOVE the images he got. I know they’ll just gel with the new site and I couldn’t be happier with the whole process!
